Rock City Art – The UK`s dedicated Music photography gallery.
The Rock City Art gallery & www.rockcityart.com concept was founded by leading UK music photographers Mick Hutson and Andy Willsher. The idea evolved from the phenomenally successful Six Shooters shows of 2010 ( aka Mick Hutson, Andy Willsher, Andy Fallon, Roger Sargent, Andy Cotterill and Paul Harries ) creating a gallery for photographers by photographers. Around the same time Andy Fallon had developed the hugely popular www.musicphotographers.co.uk , an online community with the Six Shooters at its core to promote not only the Six Shooters but also to encourage the UK’s young photography talent. It seemed a natural progression to join forces in 2011 and form Rock City Art Ltd and Music Photographers Ltd. This unique concept provides 2 incredible websites, a beautiful exhibition space and store dedicated to the sale of classic limited edition music photography, but also inspiration and education through it’s workshops & seminars at the RCA gallery. Located in Bedford’s picturesque Castle Lane area by the river, in the heart of the new cultural quarter only 40 minutes from London St Pancras, the RCA galleries monthly changing exhibitions will include classic images of everybody from Miles Davis to Metallica, Sex Pistols to the Stones, Marc Bolan to The Beatles with the opportunity to purchase these classic images. Our photographers have captured some of the most iconic Rock'n'Roll images spanning 50 years to the present day. These limited classic prints are now available for you to own authenticated, personally signed and dated by the photographer. |
